Suwa Shrine

The deity enshrined at Suwa Shrine is said to have been the god of mountains, water, and wind since ancient times, and has watched over hunting and agricultural production, and the shrine is said to have the benefit of warding off evil spirits, industrial development, and abundant harvests. There are stone statues of two guardian dogs at the shrine. Suwa Shrine, which has been loved and rooted in the local community for many years, has been undergoing repair work since 2019, but the repair work has been completed and it is now a beautifully renovated shrine.
