Kashiramori Park

The ``March 11 Light of Hope'' is installed on the grounds of Okuma Town Hall.

This light was turned off from Kobe City, where the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake occurred, in hopes of recovering from the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2021.

The glass surface depicts the scenery and local products of Okuma Town, such as Ono Station, Cape Umanose, Kumagawa Coast, Tsuruga Castle, and Akabeko, so we recommend taking a close look and enjoying them. The inscription includes the thoughts of the town mayor and other townspeople on the 10th anniversary of the earthquake, so be sure to take a look.

At night, eco-friendly LED lights are lit, illuminating the quiet Okuma town in a dreamlike manner.
