Kibokyo Sake Rice Paddy

Taking the opportunity of the Okuma Sake Project, which was held on the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, to create hope for agriculture in Okuma Town over the next 10 years, a team made up mainly of young employees from Okuma Town took the opportunity of This led to the creation of a sake called "Bokyo".

In this rice field, the sake rice "Gohyakumangoku" used for Kibokyo is cultivated. The harvested rice is sent to "Takahashi Shosaku Sake Brewery" in Aizuwakamatsu City and brewed as sake. Rice harvested in Okuma Town is turned into alcohol in Aizuwakamatsu City, where many townspeople evacuated and helped each other. This is a sake with an impressive clear fruity taste that expresses these bonds. We also plan to create sweets with the same name, and have already registered the trademark.
