ReFruits Co., Ltd. Farm

ReFruits Co., Ltd. was founded by Takuya Haraguchi and Shotaro Abe to revive kiwifruit, which was once a specialty of Okuma Town, Fukushima Prefecture. Mr. Haraguchi, the representative, went through agricultural training at a mandarin orange farm and experience with the Okuma Kiwi Restoration Club, and began to think about what he could do in Okuma Town from an agricultural perspective and what could lead to its recovery.

Before the earthquake, we were cultivating kiwifruit in Okuma Town, and we are currently preparing to grow kiwifruit little by little while learning the basics of cultivation from Fruit Garden Sekimoto, which operates a farm in Chiba Prefecture. The members of ReFruits have been working energetically since this morning.

From the spring of 2024, Mr. Haraguchi plans to graduate from university and move to Okuma Town. The goal is to have the first harvest in 2026. I'm really looking forward to the future growth!
